I was recommended to this restaurant by a French friend and we arrived without reservation on a beautiful spring day. The place filled up very rapidly after 12. Not many windows in the section ouvrier but we were lucky. The formula is a good self service cold buffet followed by a choice of three main courses, cheese and dessert, with coffee. The lady in charge is very cheerful and with a good sense of humour. Portions very good, plain but excellent home cooking in a nice atmosphere. Excellent value. There is a slightly smarter room if you want to be away from the hubub of the ouvrier. Definitely recommende and will not break the bank.
