Learned about this wonderful bakery when I was at a restaurant, had a delicious Lobster Tail for dessert asked which bakery they were from. So naturally I had to go to the bakery since I was going to a birthday celebration was asked to bring dessert win-win. All I can say is not only were the staff owners so nice, friendly attentive but everything I bought from the numerous assortment of cookies, biscotti, Lobster Tails, Sfogliatellas, St. Joseph's, rainbow cookie cheesecake etc... were all delicious devoured. Even though it's a bit out of my way, it's well worth the trip! It's now my go to bakery! Btw, while there, I noticed it was many ppl's go to bakery because the amount of ppl coming go...
Yes, they have rainbow cookie cheesecake. Yes, their pasties and cookies are top-notch. But when my wife and I needed a last minute Gender-Reveal cake because our bakery where we had a deposit was not responding, La Roma took on the task without hesitation, making us a delicious, beautiful cake with only a few hours notice.The quality of food here is what makes this place great. However, it’s the quality of people behind that counter that make it one of the best on the Island.
One of the best carrot cakes I ever had. We also ordered the death by chocolate cake and the rainbow cookies cheese cakes for our party. When back in New York, I will definitely be back there to get some of that carrot cake. Everything was excellent, and the service was very quick and professional.
I ordered a 12 inch tiramisu cake for a birthday party the night before. It was ready the next day at 11am. It was absolutely delicious. Everyone was asking where is got it from. It tasted so fresh. Will never go to another bakery for a cake. Highly recommend!!
