After making a reservation, we waited for over 30 minutes to be seated at a table. During this time, there were empty tables that had not been cleared. The service was slow and the host was impolite. Despite the delays, the food was delicious. However, the front of house staff did not provide much assistance throughout our dining experience.
The host is rude and unaccomodating. I don’t like the fact that they will not do any substitutions in chopped salad in other words, if you are vegetarian, they will not give you tomato instead of salami unless you pay for an addition. The bread is mediocre. Otherwise, it’s what you’d expect from LaScala good, dependable Italian food.
We chose LaScala for our New Year's Eve dinner after dining at this popular Beverly Hills institution for over 20 years. We were not disappointed - the food and service were excellent, even with the large crowd. Thank you for making the evening a memorable one and giving us another reason to return.
It was a wonderful evening. The ambiance is great with live music. The seafood Paella was great and so was the tuna tartare. The lamb was also solid. The service was on point and they were very attentive. Overall, it was a great experience. Book a table now
Rude host for new years eve. Waitress unattentive. Food cold. Was there for NYE dinner last year and had an exceptional experience. Disappointed this year.
It was fine but not remarkable. The food was not as good as it is at other places nearby. Pastas were nothing special.
I only go there for the food and the ambiance otherwise unfortunately service always and I mean always disappoints.
