"I visit Sete twice a year ... April and September... I have visited this excellent restaurant regularly over the last few years ..... I have never been disappointed... whilst I may change my fish selection , I love their white wine list, mersault , is my preferred choice but the varied and very reasonably priced alternatives are within everyone’s budget.... a must"

The rip off of the summer ! This restaurant is well located, and when you sit down, it looks good. But as soon as the food hits your plate, it's a major disapointment. My wife and I ate there tonight, we knew it was an expensive restaurant and were expecting quality to go with the price. We got very bland tuna tartare with ... fried potatoes ! And an ordinary daurado with ordinary zucchinis. Very fatty food, very ordinary. And to add insult to injury, the owner of the restaurant brought us a bill that was inflated with items we had not ordered ! In the end we paid 146 € for two and decided this had to be our worse evening out in 2021 !

In the row of canalside fish eateries, La Senne offers leafy protected seating, attentive service and well crafted cooking. The menu has all the usual wonderful fresh seafood, and it offers Japanese options as well as French. So we had oysters and monkfish, but also Tuna sashimi. The quality and freshness of the catch lends itself to raw preparation so this was great. Desserts slightly disappointing, lacking the same finesse too creamy.

The sun was shining when we arrived and we were happy to eat outside under the green panoply of vines. A charming and pretty young staff of ladies looked after us beautifully. The food for me was excellent with sashimi, a perfectly grilled flat fish and a good tarteatin. A great success where we were able to entertain our friends. The restaurant is run by brothers who are primarily fishermen need I say more.

This is an amazing find, The food was original, soigné, tasty and extremely fresh. A bonus is watching the Japanese fish expert preparing the fish and chopping the sashimi riveting spectacle. The staff are relaxed and friendly, it is a happy natural and relaxing place, nothing is too much trouble and the food is so good you are sad when it finishes. Definitely worth a visit, we would love to go again,
