we were in this restaurant some times in the run of the years, each time it exceeds my expectations. the house cooked food is delicious, really delicious and beautifully cooked. the family that this restaurant really care about their food, this time we had artichokes with. a Romesco sauce, absolutely beautiful, followed by mushroom risotto as good as any one they find, finally we had cream caramel, again very good. the restaurant itself is very clean, the tables are large, chairs comfortable and service excellent. this restaurant should be higher the list.

this restaurant was one of three in aracena recommended by our hotel. no bad recommendation, although the restaurant was a little lonely on a Friday afternoon. the food was freshly prepared with local products, an excellent sign. the lambskin of my wife were especially remarkable. As my own pudding was a beautiful mandel and date pier. we met the chef, a beautiful man, and I told him that his prizes in my opinion are overly, not excessive, as others have claimed more valuing. we paid €49.25 for a three-course lunch for two.

we could say that this place offers home cooking. we had a nice gazpacho and a nice squash suppe. a standard ensalata mixta. huevos con chorizo was beautiful and enormous. pez espada good. tasty, though my guess is that many would find it too rustic. home cooked puddings, flan cheese cakes were ok. house wine, bemero from almonaster, very pleasant. bill likes most restaurants around this area a bit steep at €108.

After visiting the ham moeo (recomendable) and the grotto, we had a drink and we could only have our first aperitif with Iberian ham in this aracena restaurant. all excellent, price included. next time I visit aracena beautiful village I'm going to go eat there.
