La Siesta - Table reservation

after hours of waiting and investigating in the university clinic my friend and I had received appetit and decided to look around us in the marburg old town for a suitable place. la siesta – the right! we didn't want to eat, but we wanted to spend a nice lunch break. in beautiful weather we have the place before the restaurant and who was our table neighbour? the maddin! let's see how good the choice of martin schneider is. we order gingerale and cola, gambas al ajillo, sepia a la plancha and pan con alioli. the fried gamben swim in garlic oil, with chili and rosmarin and freshly cut crumbs extremely tasty, not too sharp. the grilled sepia was on a potato bed, finely tuned with fresh crumble...

Leider waren wir mehr als unzufrieden. Ich hatte einen Tisch im Aussenbereich bestellt, dieser war für uns nicht reserviert. Gäste die nicht reserviert hatten saßen draußen, auf meine Frage warum wir keinen Tisch draußen hätten würde mir gesagt da wird nicht reserviert ????? Wir durften dann im Restaurant als einzige Gäste Platz nehmen, da bei dem schönen Wetter niemand innen sitzen wollte.Die Service Mitarbeiter haben sich wenig Mühe gegeben, auf unsere zuvor am Telefon geäußerten Wünsche einzugehen. Für die Baustelle vor der Tür könnte nun niemand etwas. Wir kamen vor lauter Ärgernis nur bis zur Vorspeise, diese war Standard, nichts erwähnenswertes. Schade, dabei war es ein Kurztripp nach...

Love coming here, food is great and prices are really reasonable! Also a Great place to bring our toddler, who is always welcome and enjoys the food as well :
