"We have eaten here twice because other places are too busy or its after lunch hours. We found portions to be big but service a bit slow because kitchen seems small. Pizza was quite good. Nice views."

We strolled around the village after viewing the Sentier des Ocres before settling on la Sirmonde for lunch. After a 10 minute wait, we were given a terrace table with a great view of Mont Ventoux and underneath a refreshing mister. My wife ordered a (large) salad and I chose the formule with ham and melon and fromage blanc as a dessert -- all fairly priced. The service on the other hand. we couldn't tell if we had somehow fallen between the cracks among the servers (a couple at the table next to ours started after us and finished before us) until we saw another table of 4 leave after being unable to order even an aperitif. In Provençal fashion, our quick meal lasted almost two hours!

People who came after we had ordered got their meals well before we were served; we were a party of 4 - food for 2 arrived 15 minutes before the other 2 were served; pizza was greasy and had small bits of hard pieces in it; French fries were cold. A plate of salad for 6 euros was basically a view pieces of lettuce. Totally under-staffed which left people not only waiting for their meals but also to pay. This restaurant experience totally ruined what was a pleasant and enjoyable visit to roussillon.

A nice restaurant with a simple menu, including Pizza as a speciality. There are good views of the West of the village over the valley. The whole floor is at a slight downwards angle so everything leans over a bit but don't let that put you off. The food is well priced but not as good at some of the best restaurants in the village. We eat late in the evening when the waiter was not quite as rushed. Overall a good experience.

Nice food and great view but they made us feel like second-class citizens for having a (completely silent) baby in his buggy. They tried to put us out of the way in the corner where we couldn't see the view. A shame as we have enjoyed this restaurant for many years but now we have a child we will certainly not be coming back. Just to put this in context, this is a pizzeria with a nice view, not Michelin starred fine dining!
