We stopped here for dinner as we were driving back through France, we just wanted somewhere reasonablly affordable, and many of the restaurants were full. One of us had the menu which included a really good chevre and a steak and then Illes Flotantte and the other had the burger. The burger was not great tbh, but the food in the menu was excellent. The chevre had a tomato paste mixed into it and the bread was lovely. The steak was full of flavour and was nice and moist. The desert was excellent, and even though they used caramel sauce, there were nuts to make it crunchy. So altogether we didn't have super high hopes as it is a kind of touristy area, the food was pretty good.
The service and helpfulness of Jean was incredible. We had a delicious meal. I had veal with mushrooms, and my husband has excellent steak. Jean helped us to choose the best wine to accompany the meal, giving us a couple of different tasters first to help our choice . The desserts were very good, too. A complimentary generous glass of Mirabelle eau de vie each was a charming end to a very good meal. I do very highly recommend this restaurant.
We ate at La Table de Bacchus and we extremely pleased with the entire experience. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was great. We really enjoyed our entrees and desserts. We will definitely eat there again when in Nancy.
We had a lovely and simple little lunch at this quaint and homey place. The first thing at the top of the menu is what we ordered: quiche Lorraine with a light green salad. Both were delicious if not particularly notable. Fairly priced at 10E. We’d definitely return.
