This was the second time I'd eaten here. On both occasions, the welcome was far from warm. First time, we were three who were ignored for five minutes before being seated, despite there being few diners and then we waited too long for menus, water, bread. The a la carte main was acceptable. Second time, sixteen places reserved, again a long wait before we were invited to sit. For ease of service, we went for the menu du jour, but there was a general reluctance by the owner to cater for dietary requirements, even vegetarian. we decided to use this restaurant as enjoyed our time there and knew we would have a great meal. However, we found out it had changed hands but thought we would still try it. Welcome: Not the best. The owner seemed to have a hard time smiling. Service: The waiter was very amenable in spite of being told off in front of all clientele....not the done thing, especially as it appeared to not be his fault. He continued to smile throughout our service and was very pleasant. Bravo to him. Food: Very good. Ample choice however portions small. Price: Menu du jour reasonable but unfortunately wine and coffee no longer included. The a la carte was a bit out of our price range and the wine....Paris pric...

Stylish restaurant that has been totally renovated recently. We sat outside in the pretty closed courtyard, with plenty of shade. Very warm welcome, with lots of explanation about the various menus. All courses were very good indeed. Lots of wine/drinks choices. Chef and all of the staff were obviously trying hard to please and we think it paid off. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return . Rooms are also available, although we did not see them, we think this would be a great stop-over destination for anyone travelling through France.

Pulled over at this hotel/restaurant in this tiny town for an unplanned lunch and was pleasantly surprised by not only the friendly attentive service and tasteful decor but the food was impeccable and remarkably reasonable. If you’re in the area, very much worth stopping by.
