La Table du Centre

We have used this bar restaurant for many years and it is great to see it open again after being closed for some time. The new Patron is Michele and he is ably assisted by Elodie. They deserve your support as he is trying hard to return the place to it's well supported previous times. He does an extremely good 3 course set menu for €12.50 and there are three choices for each course. Pay them a visit, I do not think you will be disappointed.

Arrived to be greeted by a lovely lady who, despite our non-existent French, made us immediately at home with an outside table. We had the fixed menu, enjoying a decent steak, pork in a sauce, and fish, with a table wine, which was pretty decent. Food was excellent. Well cooked and presented.The chef popped over to check everything was good, which it was. A great little eatery well worth a visit if you are in the area. Highly recommended.

We arrived to a friendly welcome and the waiter answered my broken French in English. She provided quick, helpful service. We had the set lunch - excellent seafood stew or salmon mousse on toast followed by steak or pork fillet. Profiterole was the best dessert as you got two with chocolate sauce and icecream! Also Paris Brest or crème caramel brulée.

best bar in Mouilleron friendly good food and good service Michele deserves to be successful. The terrace is great in the summer.
