"Congenial host, good food at a fair price and nice local wines. The decor is a bit strange, 1800's paintings overlaid with concrete to look like rocks. The food makes up for it"

This is a rather unusual place by its decor, paintings on old wooden panels decorate the walls with a modern addition of a shell grotto effect around the ceiling and the doors a bit kitsch but certainly worth a visit. The front door also has a grotto effect and can be easily missed from the main road. The Chef works with local local produce and the menu is typical of the Burgundy area but you can also find fish based dishes. We had the sea bass and it was delicious. The service was good and most welcoming. Do not miss this small restaurant it is worth a visit

We were staying close by at the Novotel and fancied somewhere a bit more local and authentic than the usual bland (but acceptable) fare offered in the hotel. Eccentric decor but the staff worked tirelessly bringing wonderful food and wine. Local wine from Marsonnay accompanied excellent local fare. A really enjoyable evening and would recommend to anyone. Easy to find, as well.

It's supposed to be one of the oldest restaurants in the area but they can perfectly satisfy a gourmet of the 21st century. We had the daily lunch at a very fair price it all looked homemade to us and was delicious. We came without reservation and were lucky to grab the last table;

We stopped here for lunch and it was great. A warm welcome, excellent local wine, home cooked local ingredients, and of course the 1830 decorations that are the cherry on the cake. Worth the detour!
