We sat down at bastilieday eve for a nuce dinner, and food itself was good (neat slightly overcoocked, most likely because of staying too long under heat lamps), wine from lovely cellar was superb, but the service was comical. I would like to give benefit...of the doubt, and on a better, more quiet day service could have managed, but on that given dsy most things simplynwent wrong. And the hardest part was trying pay and leave. So, if sitting there, looking like it all might take just too long, you actually mat want to take your business elsewhere. On the other hand food and wine were good.
we visited the opposite outside the season and were aware that some restaurants were closed. we went around the city and chose it as it looked inviting from outside. we had a really excellent eating both the choice of pizzas that were fresh...prepared, thin crust and very tasty. service was brilliant although it was a waitress on itself. our understanding of the French language is fundamental and it was very accommodating. the restaurant filled out constantly, so it was clear that it was popular and known that it was good. recommended for a simple, high-quality eating.
I've been here at least 5 times and I love it! The restaurant started our as a deli, believe in the same family. Deli continues in same family and progressed to delightful lunches and dinners. This is what an excellent French restaurant should be! Regardless...of the entree,I love best going down into the wine cellar to choose our own bottle. And several times, I've had a better wine than in any other restaurant on that trip. After about a half dozen trips to Provence over 15 years, this is still my favorite restaurant in France.
A lovely tiny restaurant on the main street of Coustellet. Its run by a very friendly husband and wife team and the food is fantastic. Its steers more to the traditional side of French cuisine and the menu is exceptional value. Try their Salade Gourmande...with generous pieces of fois gras, mountain ham and melon. Not surprisingly the restaurant is very popular and was full every time went its advisable to book. Be warned, the portions are absolutely massive!

The restaurant is easily missed on the Route d’Apt. This is the same road as the Super U and opposite the Artisan Boulangerie. This is an excellent French restaurant serving simple but tasty French food. The service is friendly and welcoming. A good place to...practice your French as they speak very little English. Highly recommend the Entrecôte, canard and tiramisu. Yum
Just down the street from the lavender museum is LA TABLE GOURMANDE. we were greeted warmly by the owner and served promptly by pleasant servers. The atmosphere is soothing and relaxed. The price is moderate and the quality of the food good. Go on Sunday...or Wednesday , market days!
we had a nice lunch, a good tasteful pizza, especially the tomato sauce was very well seasoned. the “saving ribs” I had was tasteful. together with the friendly staff a pleasant experience. Price/performance ok.
came after hearing some good commentary, beautiful decor small but cozy. the menu is somewhat limited almost no starter, but beautiful portions. on the other side the duck

Fairly pricey, but everyone apart from me voted this the best restaurant that we visited during a week of skiing over the new year 2010.
For a.great time order up the special for tourists it starts with a cheese and ham plate.
