Superb mouth-watering deep-filled tarts to take away. On a retail park at the back of La Flotte near Intermarche supermarket. Well worth finding. The take-away box fitted nicely on the back of bikes. You can see other tarts in the process of being made filled with high quality, fresh ingredients. No individual tarts. The small size tart serves 4 €16) The large serves 8 €25). Tart cases are fine light. Unusual fillings are either savoury or sweet. Could possibly be fila pastry or similar. The choice included an Asian, an oriental inspired one, one with a Spanish influence plus several others. We chose the La Primeure with asparagus, spinach, quail eggs, parmesan lemon. Next time I'd be more a...

Staying relatively close by we decided to order La Crabe Thai savoury tart. Guided by previous reviews we popped around on our bikes to order in advance so as not to be disappointed which we weren't! We were able to specify a collection time and duly turned up to collect and pay along with others who had pre-ordered. The instructions for reheating were simple and clear, the size was just right and flavours delicious (even the 8 year old in our group thoroughly enjoyed it. La Tartentière isn't a restaurant but it produces high quality takeaway food. Staff were friendly and pleasant which always helps! Some could say that they are relatively expensive but the portion sizes are good as the tart...

I looked for this place as i'd seen great reviews on here and was intrigued. It was a walk away from our camp site and we thought a tart would be a great idea for a family lunch. I was surprised by the different types on offer and there is more choice than a pizza take away! We ordered a medium savoury and a medium sweet. This was too much for a family of four in one sitting and worked out quite expensive for a take away lunch. However both tarts had amazing flavours and you could tell were made with good quality fresh produce. I'd definitely recommend a try!

Decided to go and have a look and could not resist! We bought the campagnard for seventeen euros. Money well spent. This happily serves two people three times so it's good value. We were given a most warm welcome but didn't feel at all under pressure. This is not a restaurant but food to take away. This is someone who loves his work and cares about the ingredients and the presentation of his food. I would certainly recommend this small establishment and will hopefully return.
