Very pleasant atmosphere, very good food - Italian food - a lot of sorts of Pizza, Pasta with different sauces, other Italien dishes, drinks - many kinds - hot or cold drinks and above all we've found there a very friendly and professional staff. On the other hand, we had to wait for a long time until seeing the food and coffees on the table. A quiet place, many amateurs of Italian food and I think we had luck finding a free table ( the last free table). It's better to reserve a table if you really wanna try "La Taverna" because we found the food delicious. The decorations are odd and interesting at the same time, the light is obscure (candles, little lamps) and the prices - affordable.
Achtung!! Warnung!! Der Service war leider nicht zufriedenstellend, da wir fast 25 Minuten auf unsere Getränke warten mussten und auch das Essen sich in einer unangemessen langen Zeit präsentierte. Die teuerste Pizza auf der Karte enttäuschte mit lediglich vier Carpaccio Streifen Abschließend sorgte eine unkorrekte Abrechnung seitens des Chefs für Unmut. Wir kamen spät und waren glücklich dass wir noch ein Bier kriegen konnten. Noch dazu wollten wir draussen sitzen damit wir rauchen können.Die sehr nette Kristina hat uns nicht nur das Bier gebracht sondern den zusammen geräumten Biergarten wieder aufgemacht! Trotz Feierabend (alle anderen Gäste waren gegangen) wurde uns ein weiteres Bier mit einem Lächeln serviert. Wir kommen definitiv wieder,nächstes Mal rechtzeitig und dann auch zum Essen. Aber jetzt schon volle Punktzahl für den super tollen Service
A year ago I was in Gutersloh and kept a memory of wonderful pizza. But, unfortunately, not at this place. The pizza was Ok, but not more than that. The beer was fantastic, like everywhere. Nothing special to tell about.
