I went here with my friend, I was looking for a quiet romantic evening and sotto sotto was booked. I found the personal here very polite, eating was excellent, and the prices very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and will eat there again in this week. note that his hidden gem is and not too many people know that it is judged by the low pay in the restaurant, but that is how I like it.
We called here for lunch and they about served everything from a breakfast baguette to full menu. The chicken we had was great 2 large chicken breast and the sauce was amazing. We went back again in the evening the day after and had the steak and peppercorn sauce. All meals nicely presented and hot and plentyful. Staff where friendly and even the chef said hello. Small and friendly place. Food excellent
We dined at this restaurant twice during our two-day stay and enjoyed both meals. The food was delicious, well-presented, and we had a great lunch as well as an evening meal. I tried the chicken and steak dishes, both of which were equally fantastic. The staff was friendly, and even the chef greeted us. If you're ever in the area, be sure to give them a try.
The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming one of the friendliest atmospheres of any restaurant. The food was superb with really fresh ingredients, and a broad and varied menu. The fritto misto was a particular stand out with the various elements all cooked to perfection. All in a great place for a family meal. Book a table now
Looking for a quick, late evening dinner we found La Taverna and called to see if they would seat us at 10:00 for dinner. They agreed and we had a wonderful, fun and very good dinner there. Very casual place, not fancy, but the food was very good and an excellent value. Would highly recommend it!
excellent pizza, pasta, sandwiches, coffee, tiramisu. very fresh ingredients and the best ciabatta. the la Taverna/Café 84 feels like an authentic Italian restaurant, which lies the short walk from the city center. I love her menu.
booked recently with a groupon voucher. rang to book at 12 midday. travelled for 1 hour to get there and it was shut. no notice on the door . nothing. forced to eat take away pizza in nearby graveyard.
Just finished a meal that burnt my wife's arm because the lasagne dish was over cooked in the oven (the waitress confirmed it ! Had to cool it with our bottle of rose ! Not a pleasant experience !!!!! Book a table now
Pannini served with no accompaniments. Chips are nice fresh and hot. Steak was expensive for the quailty provided. Serving staff not very friendly. I would not go back.
