Very quirky place run by a local winemaker selling traditional French country food. The menu includes wine for each course (his of course), and usually more than a glass, sometimes he has opened a fresh bottle and leaves it at the table. Its also a...different wine for each dish so you get plenty. The cost includes coffee and generally a digestif, Eau de Vie. You are served by the owner and winemaker and he takes the trouble to describe each of his wines. All in French so be prepared. I have rated the food as average as the range is limited, however the frenchness of it makes up for it. So a little better than average.

A warm welcome from Didier Roux before entering a characterful dining room. Gentle conversation and quiet background music. Each course was accompanied by a wine from the domaine (from which we bought an unusual carignan blanc and some pinot/syrah reds). The food was simple/rustic (charcuterie...salad, duck and cepes, cheese, and a pudding) but taste and service put many others in the shade. An amazing bargain and somewhere we shall return.

As part of a friends birthday weekend a group of of us went to Vigneronne on a couple of occasions. The aperitifs were great, the menu was all local fare and very tasty. Yes, you do have to speak French but that's no bad...thing. No concessions to tourists and all the better for it. Will definitely return.

A good meal of simple local food in a great environment with each course paired with one of the proprietor's wines. The proprietor is very gregarious and happy to discuss the wine choices at length. A great choice for a different dining experience. We'll be...back.
