I've been here a number of times, as this is my favourite place in Meschede. Apart from really friendly staff and great food, two things make La Tavola stand out: Their house wine (which apparently comes from a family-owned vineyard) and the proper brick oven...they use for making pizza. Yum!
on a very rainy day we arrived at this small place by chance and what a sound it was! a warm welcome awaited us. we could choose a table we really like; the food was delicious, the service impeccable. it is a bit on the expensive side, but still good value for money.
I have never had a meal here that didn't taste delicious! The pizza is comparable to the very best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. Pasta superb, Chianti delicious. I highly recommend this Meschede Secret! Looking forward to our summer meals there!
beautiful terrace, the interieur is modern. the pizza is made in a wood oven and the taste was ok, but not very good. the service was very friendly.
