We went on a public holiday when the crowds were busy thronging. Asked if we had a reservation we didn't we were seated anyway, provided we ate quickly (an hour and a quarter). Bonus points for letting us in. Menus came quickly but...the waiter to take our order was a good minutes behind them. Our food reasonably priced followed after a reasonable wait, but three out of the five orders were wrong: the wrong meal for one, and missing bits on two. over the replacement meal took far too long to arrive. The cocktails, cider and beer were top-notch though. One huge downside was that the smoke from the barbecue area was excessive and blowing our way so we spent a good deal of the time wiping our e...

The terrace, which is situated on a lakeside, is fashioned in a way which lets you take advantage of its ambiance no matter the weather, be it sunny, chilly or rainy outside. As such, there's a heated tent, where you could fit about people....Outside the tent there are also quite a few places to sit. Even though you couldn't call the place elegant per see, its fresh food, cooked under the longing gaze of clients, its exquisite, rich, excellently executed menu, which is artistically arranged in plates/glasses and the young and well trained personnel give this place a particularly special feel. My thanks to the chef, my congratulations to the personnel and bon appetite to the lucky people whic...

Paimpont is a magnet for all of the seekers and esoteric people from around the world, King Arthur, Broceliande... and once you have walked around the lake and seen the sites, where better to come to eat than here. A wide menu for the hungry...and the not so hungry. Excellent service and a real wood grill in the centre of the outdoors area where the steaks and brochettes are cooked. Lancelot beer on tap, who could want more!

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to the Forêt de Paimpont, and we are glad we did. We mainly chose it for its location with views of the Étang de Paimpont. We ordered a galette merguezs (lamb sausage with excellent...seasoning wrapped in a savory crèpe), steak-frites, beer and cider, crème brulée, and cafe crème all for and all delicious! Recommend if you are in the area!
