So disappointing. The food is very lackluster. Starting with the chips and salsa: the chips were unfavorable, not to mention they tasted old. The biggest red flag was the 4 tubs of clear containers filled with these chips towards the soda fountain. Iordered the cheese enchilada plate with a fish taco on the side for the entree. The enchilada was good and the sauce they usedfor it did taste authentic. Sadly that was the only thing authentic about it. The rice wasn't very good and the beans tastedlike they were canned. The tortilla for my fish taco was tough. To make things worse, the soda fountain was acting up anddispensed unfiltered soda. For such a big restaurant and so many people, ONE so...
They have s nice variety of tacos, burritos, tortas, panbazos, licuados and bionicos. The staff doesn't look like they want to be here or haven't been trained well. Fruit wasn't cut right (chunk of pineapple core in my bionico), carne asada had grizzle in it. Cashier didn't know what kind of cream they used on their bionicos...$2 for a Sangria soda was also a bit high. I won't be coming back.
The food here made me sick .I don't know if it's because of covid it looks like everything they had was not fresh . They were heating everything up in their stove..yuck! back in the day when I went everything was made fresh. This is today Aug21/22 Idecided to come back to give it a try burnt tortillas and overly cooked beans. Pictures below
This restaurant has been serving the best Mexican food for over 40 years. You should definitely go—trust me, you'll want to return again and again! Just a heads-up: they're closed on Tuesdays. We enjoy dining in, and sometimes we get takeout too. Enjoy your meal!

I highly recommend this restaurant for a visit with friends. I go there often, and I have always had a positive experience. The food is delicious, and the staff is efficient and friendly. Every time we go, we have a wonderful time. I can't recommend it enough!
???? La Tolteca is like hybrid sit down diner because place is huge, interior is nice, and food is well prepared, but also like fast food because overall service is quick. ???? percent will recommend.
I really admire this restaurant. It has a wonderful ambiance and the cuisine is exceptionally good. The service is energetic and the staff is polite. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it!
It's American Mexican food. White people probably love it. Salsa has no flavor and not hot. Chile Verde burrito was awful. Nice place but food not so good. Expensive to.

When my girlfriend and I walked in, the new owner’s daughter was making out with some adult men, which seemed very unprofessional for a restaurant. Thumbs down.
