Oh, look at the reviews of La Torre, you almost want to go on. But we were brave and rewarded. As much as I know, an offshoot of the Il Grottine, or belonging to the Familia. So in the hand of real Italians with many years of restaurant experience. Really enjoyed a fabulous lunch at La Torre da Salvatore today. The refurbishment is much more stylish than what used to be here with the old owners. The food AND service were wonderful, which is so important in this city where you don't usually get...both especially the latter. The spaghetti with fresh tuna was so delicious and the pasta was not just average but definitely specially made. The tasting plate of a trio of desserts was out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant

We were in Dresden for the weekend and my wife and I set out in the evening looking for someplace pleasant to eat. We stumbled on La Torre and I'm so glad we did. The service was great, the wine list expansive and good, the...food delicious. If you're looking for Italian food in Dresden, this is the place for you.
