"Recommended to go to this restaurant whilst staying at Chateau de la Berchère. The lady kindly booked us a table. Parked right outside and welcomed and seated straight away. We were served a complimentary starter, breads and a sweet rose wine whilst looking at the...menu. My husband fancied trying a Nuits St George wine but at over €900 a bottle- he decided on a glass!! Our food was superbly presented and not over priced. Worth visiting."

this restaurant was recommended by a local hotel (château de la berchère) and we were not sure what to expect. the location is easy to find, parking easy. in the interior is the whole place really stylish; beautiful distance between tables, simple decor, but really interesting art. beautiful central feature of a (gas-fired log effect fired. all for our pleasure. thank you, the waiter said something English, he was very humble and really knowledgeable. we were served an aperitif that just made us hungry (what I think is the point of them. we had no appetizer, but the main course was really good; I had bark steak and my wife tried the fish. really nice portion sizes (i.e. not too big.) veg goo...

recommended by the owner of our accommodation in nuits st georges this was a pleasant surprise. Definitiw Top-End, with traveling to fit, the experience was a quality service and eat from qualitatiw. the set menu is 38 for two courses, 42 for three. so, something. at the top of the norm. but for that they get a real service and great love to detail. also the food is very well presented. not massive portions, but delicious taste. I had to follow the Aspargus starter and a filet beef. my bark was a bit better baked than I demanded, but the accompanying sauce was on it and it was very acceptable. had to follow a frozen cream brule and a half bottle montagny 23) the total bill for two was 108. s...

we stayed here for lunch (recommended reservations) while wein tasting in the cotes du nuit region burgund. we had all the three cursor times of the businessman, which was an incredible value. they had two options for each cursor and eating was both well prepared as well. the highlight was the ham steak with mustard/pepper sauce. the meal comes with a glass of local wine, made for a perfect lunch. recommend this restaurant for lunch in burgund.

What a shame as the head waiter/manager’s behaviour totally ruined what would have been a lovely dinner. We met the chef earlier in the evening and he was very friendly. However, when ordering my steak well cooked the head waiter visibly scorned at me and...looked down his nose at me. Our food was lovely and cooked so well. However, the attitude of the staff ruined the evening and we left after our main course and didn’t stay for dessert.
