To clarify, this is the mountain top restaurant at the top of the Toviere gondola from Tignes 2100. The location is absolutely breathtaking and the restaurant is perfectly situated and sympathetically constructed to maximise this location. Moreover, it is easily accessible on foot by gondola from Tignes. Unfortunately there is nothing more of credit to comment on this restaurant. The food has been prepared with the minimum of expense and effort, is both tasteless and lacklustre, expensive and utterly tragic. The hidden twist was the bout of food poisoning that I enjoyed posted the visit.There are numerous high quality mountain restaurants in the Tignes area providing good quality competitive...
Un restaurant très correct sur les pistes à l'arrivée de la télécabine Tovière avec une vue magnifique et accessible pour les non-skieurs.La carte est large, excellente salade caesar et desserts très corrects. Les prix sont ceux des restaurants d'altitude. La terrasse est vaste et on trouve de la place même aux heures de pointe et le self service est fluide. Une mésaventure de skis échangés en repartant m'a permis de découvrir le sens du service du patron qui veille à ce que chacun garde une bonne image de sa maison. Suffisamment rare pour être relevé !
Worst food ever. A party of 14 went there for lunch and we were not impressed. Tartiflette a staple in a resort should be easy to make but their dish was not inspiring at all - no sauce, just some lardons mixed through some potatoes and a bit of cheese on top. Flimsy salad as well.2 of us that ate tartiflette fell in love with our chalets toilet bowl - projectile vomiting and diarrhoea. A bought of food poisoning that's for sure!Thank you. Would not go back.
Le pire de ce que l'on peut connaitre dans un restaurant d'altitude. 50 cts les toilettes, 4 euros la mini bouteille d'eau, un jambon fourré au Beaufort sans aucun intérêt, bouteille de vin hors de prix, pâtisserie décongelée... 77 € à deux. Tristes d'avoir poussé la porte. Accueil désagréable sur le self. A éviter si on veut passer une journée de bonne humeur sur les pistes.
