We were the first to arrive in an emoty restaurant at 7:30pm , for the first evening sitting after having been closed for a fortnight's holiday for the owners. We were made very welcome, and my wife's gluten intolerance was understood and cheerfully caters-for. 1) The aperol spritz was bitter sweet and delicious2) the local rose wine was soaked and superb3) The starter was Mozarelly with tomato and basil and was truly excellent: they warned us that the entrees were enormous so we should share one. 4) the main course steaks with garlic potato wedges were actually perfect!5) the pane cotta was smooth, firm, ice cold and topped with a delicious fruit syrupThis was the best meal we had in Antibe...
Atmosphere and food is just amazing... really out of this world. I've been to many places but this restaurant has gone through my expectations. We did waited quite long time for the food but it was well worth it. It's a family place and the atmosphere was like every one know each others. It was great. Also the fact that the chef was going to each table and asking if you enjoy the food was really nice. I recommend this to any one who visits Antibes. It was the best restaurant ever and I'm sure I will come back for more ! :)
We were welcomed, shown to our table and offered drinks by the friendly waiter. No menus here. All written on blackboards as the offerings change frequently. No wine list - just bottles lined up on the bar area with the price written on them. The chef came to check all was ok. They really care that you are happy with their food.The bread is the best we've had on our visit to Antibes.I would thoroughly recommend this to everyone, old and young and in between!
I had the best lunch I've had in my life! I had proscuitto and melon which also included watermelon. Very generous and tasty. My husband and daughter had the salad which was full of veggies and eggplant with a fabulous dressing.

The food was well presented in a simple style, the staff made us very welcome with good natured banter. The ambiance made the the whole place homely and comfortable and well worth a visit.

A very cozy place, with amazing fresh food. The steak tartare it's a melody, I prefer it without truffle's oil.
