La Trencadis - Table reservation

For our six-month anniversary we were recommended by our hotel owner in La Trencadis. Honored by the beautiful Frederike, who was not only a wonderful cook, but also a warm and welcoming host. We sat in the garden area with other diners that suck the warm night air through the old building and the green around us. Embedded among other similar buildings, it stood for its simplicity and subtle illumination. We left the menu choice up to Frederike and we had four courses, each with its own exquisite taste. The wine was a 2017 Domain De La Meunerie Caruso red, which was neither too heavy nor light. Bread was continuously refilled through each course. I will not even try to explain the divine tas...

I can't comment for dinner. In the morning called to make a reservation for the evening that was intended as a birthday party, on arrival the restaurant was closed. I telephoned and was greeted with a message that the restaurant was closed this evening. We went around to find somewhere to eat. Probably we came over a super restaurant where we were warmly welcomed. I know that September is not a high season, but I think the behaviour of La Trencadis is bad.

If you are in the village of Argelès sur Mer, you must enjoy La Trencadis For Frédérique for their delicious méditerranéen food for the scenarios for meeting new friends....

We had a fantastic meal here, service very friendly and attentive, food was so fresh and delicious. The restaurant is also so quiet and romantic! We loved it!
