Made the mistake of addressing the staff member at the desk in English to be answered abruptly with No English! We immediately left and spent our money (about 60 Euro) on a lovely lunch at the very welcoming restaurant next door. Just don 't bother with La Trot Fromages.
We stopped and had a glass of wine and a cheese plate. Of course all were from Alsace, and all were quite good. This is a good place also to people watch
