wow. the whole food was so good, even better made by fantastic diving sauce. the fried calamari, which can be tired in some restaurants, rubbery and tasteless, was amazing. Although it was a generous part, we wish we had ordered more! the whip was fresh, bright and excellent. the main dishes matched the incredibly high standard of the appetizers. the only disappointment was the service that was somewhat slow and negligible. the good news is that the dishes arrived hot and tasty, but as we through our order the dishes stacked on the table and our glasses (water, wein and cocktail) were empty.
What impressed me most about the food was how well prepared and balanced it was. Restaurant food always has more salt, fat, and sugar than youâd ever use at home, but not here. A guayaba agua fresca was perfect, with no added sugar, Iâm not sure Iâve ever had that, even in Mexico. Everything else was bright and fresh and delicious. tapas portions are generous and prices were just right. Servers are gracious and lovely. I would bring my family back here for a special meal as we all love this kind of good.
I feel like La Viga has gone downhill. The dood quality is not the same but the prices have increased. The shrimp taco was still good but the pork taco was too fatty and the steak taco was undercooked. Just not with the price.
I love this restaurant. Food is amazing. Service is good. Servers are efficient and friendly. My only complaint is noise level is deafening when restaurant is full. Other than that, outstanding.

We went to La Viga for our company Holiday lunch there are only 6 of us. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing! Everyone loved their lunch.
The food is usually pretty good but there’s so many noise kids it is a family oriented restaurant after all
