Four of us had been sightseeing in the old town and were looking for somewhere for lunch. The other two restaurants in the square looked very busy but a very large family group had just left the Hotel La Villa so we thought we'd give it a try. In no time at all the terrace had been tidied up and we were sat comfortably at a table overlooking the square. The two friendly ladies who looked after us helped us choose some tapas dishes which soon came out, fresh and delicious. With wine to accompany the food, and a nice coffee afterwards, all at an incredibly reasonable price, we felt we had stumbled across a real gem. This really is Spain at its simple and charming best!
recommended restaurant in the square of the requena vile, has a terrace in the square, and a good dining room on the upper floor. make salads, broken eggs, padding mushrooms, typical sausages of the earth, and variety of dishes, as well as having an understanding on the stockings, as it could be nothing more, as we are in the do útiel requena. Below you can see the underground, do not miss the visit, although the stairs are long and narrow.
Overall a fantastic stay!! We did not have breakfast because it was only continental and for dinner preferred to go out so can't make any comments. Everything was great but the shower, it needs a better care, water paddle on the shower plate and the hot/cold too difficult to regulate, it is hydromassage but for a shower I see it pointless. Location is the best, next to the caves and near the Fortress Staff very friendly and helpful.
This is a small 2 star hotel in a very lovely square in old Requena. Rooms are basic but pleasant. The owner and staff are all very friendly and helpful, and speak some English. The breakfasts are very good, with plenty of choice. Evening meals in the restaurant are also good, providing you are OK with local food nothing international here! and the Paella Valenciana was absolutely superb. Overall, a very nice hotel.

todo un descubrimiento en el resort de Requena. gran restaurante con un menú muy bien surtido de mar y tierra, asequible y muy bien cocinado y presentado. saboreamos el calamar en el plato, el pepinillo del cerdo, el secreto y el bacalao, y los recomendamos; los postres caseros son exquisitos
Estuvimos casi una semana y la verdad que muy bien, la habitación muy cómoda y Tomas super atento y amable, por poner una pega, sería el baño que la cortina aunque intentábamos cerrarla bien, salía el agua, ubicación en todo el casco histórico, en resumen, estuvimos muy bastante bien.

2 star hotel in a historic area of requena. has what you can expect from a hotel of that category. the rooms are available on three floors and are clean but are already in number in years. tv and toilet with bathtub.
