"I'm late submitting this review from our 2013 France trip. The restaurant is delightful and the food is superb. Service was terrific. The decor was modern and orange :). Comfortable seating and an attractive menu. Price was a bit high but we felt that the quality of the food was worth the cost."

We visited this restaurant before it relocated to its current location. Having experienced a rather average meal in a cramped setting we thought it was worthy of a second visit in its new surroundings. You will find the restaurant just outside Niort on the road to La Rochelle. It is off the roundabout heading towards the large CPAM offices. The sign is rather poor and a little hidden by vegetation so easy to miss first time round. The restaurant is modern, large and open aired to an extent with a play on the colour white, clearly someone has invested quite a sum in relocating the restaurant. The staff are attentive and welcoming and seemed well placed while unobtrusive, however, it is about...

Highway noise. Uncut wild field not worth looking at. Very contemporary decor is attractive. Minimal English and very gourmet food. Unhappy that we ordered only plat. Still full from last 2 nights. Amuse boucle and another small thing served. Beef was excellent and rose from Provence by the glass very good. However one should never have to wait over 30 minutes for a check and again as long for someone to take their credit card. We would not go back even though the main course was good. What a shame. Maybe they need more staff. All were hustling but once we were finished they list interest in. us

We were recommended this restaurant by the Tourist Information Centre in Niort, it is easy to find and has a first class reputation which we found was well deserved. It offers high quality food and first class service.I had the 'degustation' menu with wines and it was wonderful. I was consulted about any food groups I would not enjoy and sure enough none were included. My wife and Father had a more simple menu but they were both impressed with the food and wine.

attentive staff and a charming ambience in a relaxed modern environment make the perfect opportunity to enjoy imaginative dishes at realistic prices. And it is worth experimenting with each of the set menus to experience the full range of chef's expertise. You can even rely of the staff's ability to adapt the menus to suit any vegetarians in your party and you won't be disappointed.
