I had to go to the hostess to ask for a server to come to our table. The server was very nice. She brought the food. There was a long piece of hair in my husband's food. The server was mortified. They re-cooked it, offered us free dessert and did not charge us for our appetizer or my husband's plate. My shrimp was undercooked, but I thought I would just take it home and re-heat it. Typically we eat at their restaurant in Excelsior, but thought we would try this one since we were in the area. This was an unfortunate experience. They were quick to do what they could to remedy the situation.
I love Lagos! The staff is always incredibly friendly and pleasant. They always have excellent recommendations. The traditional margarita is delicious, simple but amazing. My favorite dish is the avocado taco, but the ahi tuna and shrimp tacos are also fantastic. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. I enjoy getting tacos so I can try a variety of flavors, but getting a burrito or bowl is also a great option!
Service was sub par. Waitress kept us on the “back burner” for our initial order and for drink refills. Food was good, if you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, this is not the place to go. Margaritas were delicious, the ambiance was great, but the overall experience made it not worth a second visit.
Came for the happy hour street tacos, unfortunately the server told us it was only the meat options. I’m vegetarian so was disappointed that they did not have a meatless option for the tacos. Not sure how meat is cheaper than some veg or bean tacos?

Top notch service. Good food and drink selection. Clean bathrooms. Parking can be tricky, but you should find some within a few blocks.
Food service were great! Loved being able to sit on the patio and enjoy the outdoor dining. One of our favorite spots for date night!
