We recently visited Lai Lai for the first time since the ownership change. In the past, we always enjoyed the consistently delicious food. However, this time we ordered Spring Rolls, Hot and Sour Soup, and Singapore Noodles. While the Spring Rolls were satisfactory, we found the Hot and Sour Soup and Singapore Noodles to be bland. Unfortunately, we did not keep the leftovers as we usually would have.
This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a delicious meal in a cozy setting. It was quite busy due to Valentine's Day, but the staff was efficient and friendly. The only hiccup was that our drinks were forgotten, but when we mentioned it, they were very apologetic and promptly corrected the error by adjusting our bill. The food was reasonably priced and the crumbed lemon chicken was absolutely delicious.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem and were delightfully surprised. We ordered chicken and corn soup for two and a serving of Satay Chicken Skewers. For our main courses, we had Kong Po Chicken, Chicken with steamed Vegetables, Lemon Chicken, and Gado Gado. Each dish was cooked perfectly and the portions were very generous. We will definitely be returning. The service was exceptional.
Came here for takeout, price was good, and was the nicest Chinese takeaway I have had in a long time. Will definitely be back for more.
