The fish was hot and crisp. The store was crowded. Very pleasant staff. The store is super clean. The fish is pricey and sort of small. I got 3 pieces of lake trout with fries. $14. It had just the right amount of crip and seasoning. This store is very clean and they have nice chairs for you to sit while waiting. The store is well lit, decorated, and a very large menu head. They also serve fresh salad and fruit salad. I will return to this location on a friday. Enjoy the pictures and video. The food at this restaurant was terrible - the fish was not fresh, and neither were any of the other items on the menu. Everything seemed to be frozen, which is why they couldn't offer fresh fish. Coming from Boston, I know what truly fresh fish tastes like, and this place is definitely not it. I noticed a lot of people buying the fish, and I mentioned to someone that I should open up a seafood restaurant in the area to give them a taste of New England and show them what fresh fish really tastes like. My friend agreed, saying that I would likely take all the business once people try my seafood.
First time trying yesterday (Windsor Location) and the food was good. Seasoned well, I had the sampler 2 stake fish, 2 wing, 2 shrimp w western fries. I do like my chicken and fish fried hardt! So, I’ll just ask them to do so next time. But all in all 10 out of 10! Jumbo half half was good too bigger then usual Jumbo size. I will definitely be back for sure.
I would recommend lake trout 2 for steakfish nuggets. I tried their fried rice and steakfish nuggets not a fan. The western fries had a funny taste to them it might have been the ketchup. The place is very clean though. I have not eaten their lake trout or chicken it might be delicious I just would not recommend their steakfish nuggets for me.

Fry on the whiting is more of a tempura fry, not soul food fish fry nor seasoned. Yams bland/mac n cheese saucy and bland. Everything did make a good base to take home and re-prepare. I put the mac in oven for 20min at home and added some spices to the yams.. came out delish
I cannot give this restaurant 5 stars because there were too many bones in my fish. The service was good, and I got my food as a takeout option for dinner. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.
Just ate lunch. Everything was good with the exception of fries. When I picked up the food, the fries was nearly cold. It is as if the fries was on shelf for awhile and they just warmed it up.

No frills spot but they fry the BEST lake trout in town!!!! Been coming here for decades now. Our family fave!
