My new destination in Gutenberg for a burger and brew. Watch your bike and car crosses!!!! Enter the past and enjoy every minute of a great experience in the longest bar in the Middle West. Lakeside is one of the great historical ballrooms and still good times and great hospitality. Located on the north edge of the city, Lakeside is the small additional effort it requires to find and from the tourist city center of Gutenberg. It is inconvenient and friendly to overlook the bar entrance, but once you are there, you will be back.
I absolutely love this place! The staff, food, and service are all exceptional for the area. The building and ballroom are a remarkable testament to craftsmanship and reflect the care that has gone into maintaining this time-honored community hub!
Great place!!! Best prime rib I 've ever had! The hash browns are my favorite!! Excellent food! Excellent people! It 's our date night spot! Best place in Guttenberg the ONLY place we go!
I had the steak medallions and shrimp special on June 1, 2019, and it was fantastic. Cooked perfectly, and I usually don’t order steak, but I’m really glad I did tonight.

My parents started going to Lakeside Ballroom around 1960. I had my wedding dance there on November 16, 1968. Some of my greatest memories are from Lakeside!
