Absolutely terrible experience. My party gets seated at a nice table, however it is directly in the sun because apparently their umbrellas broke. Takes 15 minutes to finally get water and we are already overheating from the sun. Then it takes another 30 minutes to put our order in and then an hour and a half to get the food. We only got the food once we got up and went to speak to someone and say we've been waiting for our food for over an hour, then they started rushing our food out. Service was terrible had to ask multiple times for water refills. Didn't compensate for any meals instead put on a $50 gratuity tip which we asked them to take off and they agreed. My experience at the Lakeside Beach House in South Lake Tahoe was fantastic. I ordered a salad with fresh mozzarella, mixed greens, balsamic reduction, arugula, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes, topped with smoked salmon. The smoked salmon was incredibly flavorful and moist, a pleasant surprise. The salad was delicious and well-prepared. Our server, Elise, was wonderful and added to our enjoyment. The setting was perfect for a beachside resort, with ample space to enjoy our meal without feeling crowded. The ambiance was lovely, with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. There were several issues with my visit at the restaurant. 1. Servers did not come to my table until I asked them who the waitress was for my table. Servers were waiting on tables around except for us. 2. My kid's hamburger was raw. I wasn't asked if how I wanted the burger. It came raw and I asked them if they can take it back. 3. My husband ordered the hot dog basket. On the menu it said the hotdog came with jalapeños and onions. Our hotdog came with none of that. I did not have a good experience. Servers were not attentive. My drinks (water) were not filled at all. I will not be coming back to this restaurant.
I wish I could say that my experience at this restaurant was good because the view was beautiful, but it was honestly awful. They were out of almost everything on the menu! Our server kept apologizing for not having half of the items we ordered. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty, our food took a long time to come out. The appetizers arrived at the same time as our main courses, even though we ordered them 30 minutes earlier. Unfortunately, all of the dishes were bland, overcooked, and lacking seasoning.

New management so no alcohol until they get that liquor license worked out. Order with the host, limited menu is not what you see in previous pictures or online (see most recent snaps of their chalkboard menu) no full service. Just order and your food is brought to your table. No one is gonna check to see if you need a refill on your $5 fountain drink so ask and they'll fill er' up for ya. Prices are inflated but that's to be expected with a prime location.
Elisa.. was wonderful..she worked through the menu items, some were unavailable but she made our lunch venue very pleasant... The mahi-mahi fish and chips were fantastic... Their fish tacos definitely need work... cold tortillas aren't cutting it ... keep up The good stuff...
The restaurant has a fantastic view, especially at sunset. The service was fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the chicken salad, and I appreciated that they actually cut the lettuce so I didn't end up with dressing on the corners of my mouth while eating.
This is probably one of the worst places I've ever been for lunch. Beautiful atmosphere but everything else was 1 of 5 stars. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else if you want decent food and drinks. Huge disappointment

YELP your review site is messed up. Clicking on the menu takes me to one from a former restaurant at this location. This one is so much better but you are not helping by posting the wrong menu.
Stopped in for a drink and a snack. Services was great and the view incredible. The lemonade was delicious and refreshing. The nachos were a little awkward to eat but tasty.
