Went out kayaking with my sister and we paddled slllll the way here. But I'm so glad we did. If I was rating JUST the food, I'd give it 5 stars. It was delicious. Was it because we were famished from a 2.5 hour kayak adventure? Can't say for sure. But I do know I enjoyed the hell out of that burger. It was cooked perfect. Fries were about as perfect as bar fries can get and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. Service was meh at best. She was nice but took forever to do anything. The bar is definitely a hole in the wall. And as far as hole in the walls go, it was fine. But it was dark and quiet (why was there no music or sound from the TVs?! . And the bathroom was Gross. All that aside thou...
Sat down at a table and waited over five minutes. Never even saw a server or bartender. Someone in kitchen peered out a couple of times, but never saw or had any contact with anyone. Not a good first impression. New to area...... Was a dive, for sure....I'll try again sometime...could have had a regular customer here... what is it with bars, always make you feel like an outsider when you're new....not a good way to build clientele.
