If you are looking an absolutely horrible meal. Rice is watery, curry has no taste at all and nan bread is the size of a coin. Whoever owns this place needs to have a long hard look at themselves. Would never go back ever ever in a million years. Just so gutted we wasted our money on it. Now have to go to get proper food.

You enter a typical indian decor with a lovely smell drawing you in. Being of indian origin, i can say the food tastes just like the real stuff. Great variety of indian food, recommended for couples, friends or groups. Been there like 20 times and still eager to return.

Lacks a vegetarian menu, but does have a number of veggie options. Tried the veg samosa and veg pakora starters. Both very nice, especially with tasty pickles. Main course for me was tarka dhall, tasty enough, but as usual in France lacking in spice.

We were really really disappointed by this. We went for dishes were normall order in other restaurants like Kashimir, dishes that we normally love. But portions looked like left-overs and they were really tasteless. We truly felt ripped off. Book a table now

We had a pleasant enough meal at Lal Qila. The menu has all the dishes you would find in a "run-of-the-mill" South Asian restaurant in the UK. If you fancy a change from the bouchons of Lyon then it is OK, but it isn't special.

1st impressions count - staff weren't great : seemed to find everything a struggle - food ok - beer very expensive , man bread expensive , mushroom side dish lacking body I'm sure there is better in Lyon
