We had 1 night in Lyon and wanted to find one of the famous Michelin star restaurants to enjoy…L’Alexandrin delivered the absolute best meal we’ve ever had. We had the 5 course meal. Every single course was amazing. Perfectly balanced and delicious with every bite. Highly, highly recommend L’ALEXANDRIN! The service was also amazing, our French is not very good and everyone made an effort to speak to us in English. The experience was worth every single cent. If you’re in Lyon, you have to stop by.
this time a business meal where we discover the summer card with the chef always as nice and available despite a large table of 20 guests this day it has come to serve us within a normal time and once again it was more regaled of its decline in mouthing, its very fine dishes and the chocolate dessert my favorite! a very good address with its lunch menu at 38€ unbeatable in the neighborhood in view of the quality!
Here’s a chef who seems to have a lot of merit and tries to lead his boat among the many beautiful Lyon tables.The cuisine is of quality, rather classic with good products. but the frame is very sad, the service provided by young apprentices too novices ... the chef can not assume everything .vins with glass quite expensive (especially the cup of champagne at 20€ )
warm welcome with mention for the waitress and its South American accent. The kitchen is really delicious, refined and well present. the boss laurent rigal to the little care with us has regaled us with his anecdotes throughout the evening ... I highly recommend this address and will not fail to iron there at my next return on lyon.

The kitchen is excellent, the pleasant and quiet environment and the presence of the chef in the room, who is in the smallest care with his clients, is really a plus we enjoyed. a good point also for vegetarian menu: it is quite rare in this type of restaurant to be noticed. No doubt we'll come back!
Superb food and service from start to finish. The food was exquisite. The chef is front of house and is attentive of everyone’s needs. This was a luxury eating experience and whilst a little expensive is worth it for a treat at a Michelin star restaurant.
