We live in PA, and last several years when we got to NY this used to be our best place. Last year the food wasn't good and we thought may be a mistake one time. This year on Dec 10, 2022 we went to NY again and we were thinking going to other Nepalese restaurant but ended up going there again. It was the most horrible foods we ever had. Waitress did a great job but the quality, and test of the foods were not even give one star. We are family of 4, my wife and kids now saying we will never go back to this place. The veg momo and chicken samaybhajhi kids had they left all. My wife had fish thali, she love fish but she said it was smelling so she didn't even touch. They also use ajino moto...Th...

I just visited yesterday again with my friend. Well under new management, the quality of food did not seem to go down. The food was tasty as always. But the service and hospitality seem to go down at its lowest level. Our waiter was so rude and unprofessional. I had ordered a thali and my friend just beef sukuti. N my friend was took few portion of rice only from my plate. When the waiter came back to add rice, she rudely said you can't do that next time. It was not like my friends took a big portion and even I did not add a lot. Just one spoon and dal. It was a worst experience. We did not want to create any scene so we just left but don't plan to return back.

I absolutely adore this restaurant!! I can still vividly remember the first time I tried it and instantly fell in love. Now, 5 years later, I continue to frequent this place. Although the prices have increased, I recall in 2018 when you could get 8 pieces of momos for only $5, whereas now you're paying $1 per momo. Additionally, I've noticed that their menu has strayed away from its original cultural roots and incorporated more American dishes, such as fried chicken. Despite these changes, it is still a wonderful place to dine. It's just a bit sad to see the alterations, especially for long-time customers like myself.

I tried Nepali food while visiting New York last week and enjoyed every bite. We were warmly welcomed and received excellent hospitality. Even though Nepali style lemonade wasn't on the menu, the host kindly made a delicious one for me. Their Momos are the best I've had in New York, with a wide variety to choose from. I highly recommend this restaurant.
