L'Amandier de Mougins

The second time we have eaten at this restaurant this time for lunch on a very warm day. The setting is really lovely, looking out over the hills towards Grasse. The food was quite good. One of our party had the lunchtime deal of...the plat du jour plus a glass of wine and a café gourmand (coffee with a few small desserts), and that seemed by far the best value at €25. The others had the rather expensive main courses or dearer menu, which were fine, but having the plat du jour as part of the €38 menu did not seem to be great value as it was somewhere between microscopic and just small. We had an amazing meal here. Unfortunately we did not have a reservation and so they could not seat us outside on the terrace. But we were glad they could serve us inside in any case, it is a large restaurant with several stories. The...individual dining rooms are mostly small and very cosy. The menu was excellent with many choices and everything was prepared just perfectly. The fois gras was outstanding.

we went twice last week and took the menu. that was delicious. I need to eat gluten-free and almost everything on the menu can be easily adjusted so that I could also enjoy the delicious meals that are often not the case in other restaurants. the waiters are very friendly and helpful. thanks for the delicious meal.

Everything was perfect: welcome by the staff, food, wine and view. We left around 11:00pm and at 2;00AM the gastric problems started. diarrhea, vomiting etc. Horrible night, I have to cancel my trip to Paris next morning!

We had a very enjoyable lunch . Every dish was perfection. Do try and book if you are in South of France. lunch is nice as it is still light to drive .
