The restaurant is next to the river Charente, the view is stunning. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is very delicious and also very pleasant to the eyes. From starter to dessert, everything was perfect. If you come here, you should order 3 course-menu. 3 Course-Menu costs 32€. The whole dining experience is definitely worth every cent.
A little magical in the summer. The terrace directly overlooking the Charente at sunset contributes greatly. A lot of space between the tables gives a relative privacy. Finally the kitchen is exceptional. For a relatively moderate price, you can easily flirt with gastronomy. The service is perfect.
An overall great experience! Started to lose hope on the French servers but this place changed my mind. Really polite and pleasant. And the food...oh the food. With the view over the river. Do yourself a favour and come here.

A real discovery, excellent cuisine with top service in a charming area on the edge of Charente. We can really eat very well for 40 eur max per person wine included. Nice wine list. Bravo.
