Such a long wait, but it turned out to be well worth it. The server was decent. It took a while for the throwed rolls to come around--but only because they 're so incredibly delicious that EVERYBODY wants more than one. I did not like that we had to wait for our meal to come before we could get any of the pass around stuff. That seems like it should be an appetizer situation. The kids loved it though. My pork loin was excellent; the wife 's hamburger steak was a bit dry. Oh, and the pineapple walnut salad is a pistachio pudding type dessert not a bowl of vegetables. Disappointed in that one.
This restaurant is always a blast! The food is fantastic and you certainly get more than enough to eat. The staff is very attentive and it's a great place for families. The signature "throwing of the rolls" is what really sets this place apart. Raise your hand and a roll will soar through the air right to you. Everyone has a great time—kids are rolling around laughing, teenagers are enjoying themselves, and even mom can't help but smile, despite rolling her eyes. I always end up taking home a huge brownie or a cinnamon roll. This place is definitely a must-visit!
The portions are huge. I like the bread. It's soft and hot. I enjoyed it with butter. I like that they have complimentary sides like fried okra, potato etc. I was a bit dis appointed with my steak. It lucks the flavor, not juicy and a bit rubbery. My friends rib needs more time and does not fall off from the bone. It's unique and enjoyable experience but the quality of the food has to improve.
You can 't go to a spot like Lambert 's and complain because there aren 't any healthy options. That 's like going to a steak house and complaining about the lack of vegetarian options. Go big or go home! Big portions, Big laughter, Big trucker drink cups, big rolls and Big Family Fun. The food is ok, it's like dining at your local greasy spoon but on a Grander scale. The atmosphere of the place is top notch and my kids have a blast here and I rank that high. Hard working staff here
Well worth the wait! Yesterday was our first experience and it was sure great. The rolls are delicious, fresh and hot! Chicken fried steak smothered in mashed potatoes and gravy was the best I’ve ever had. Portions are HUGE! We will definitely be back!
Absolutely fantastic, as always! The 45-minute wait was definitely worth it. The rolls, roasted chicken, beef stew, catfish, shrimp, chicken dumplings, chicken strips, and all the sides were amazing!

It's a must try in the area, the food is decent and the experience is fun. It's usually pretty busy, so I might expect a wait. The portions are a good size as well.
