Music was way to loud! And im a 70s girl!!! Lol If I had ordered the $12.00 walk-arounds, I'd had paid $12.00 for 1 spoon potatoes and onions and 2 spoons of okra..I was so excited to eat here with my grandson! Its been a few years...his ribeye steak and loaded baked potato were good, but not hardly worth the $4.50 upgrade for the loaded potato! Steak was delicious! I sneaked some when he went to restroom!! ? I ordered fried chicken wings and although I usually want the most for my money, these 4 wings were big and so tough, and bland, I couldn't eat them! Kinda felt like we were being herded like a cow! ? the throwed rolls were dry! I couldn't believe it....
Lamberts Cafe in Springfield, Missouri, conveniently located just off Highway 65, is a must-visit at least once in your lifetime. The portion sizes are GENEROUS, and you'll be greeted with fresh, hot rolls served with butter and honey right at your table. The servers frequently come around with complimentary sides, including fried okra, skillet potatoes, and assorted vegetables. The restaurant is adorned with charming antique decorations and is impeccably CLEAN. The staff is not only friendly but also very professional, ensuring a great experience catered to you. It's definitely worth the drive, and I can't wait to visit again.
Lambert 's Cafe was a fun experience. It is a large restaurant that can accomodate groups. The menu lists what sides come with each dinner. They are extra sides that come with the dinners. It is a little confusing but the waiters will explain. After you get your meal, they bring around big pots with fried okra, fried potatoes and tomato noodles. The fun part is when they bring out the hot rolls. They yell rolls and them begin to throw them to customers that raise their hands. When children want a roll, the thrower will gently toss them a roll. The rolls are amazing!
1st time at this location and it was just as good and the one in Sikeston. Wait time was about 30 minutes which is normal and they were packed. Food was good and our server was friendly. Took our friends and they loved catching the rolls thrown to them. Had a good time Book a table now
Once we settled at our table, everything else was fantastic! The food and service were amazing, and the thrown rolls were absolutely to die for! We even bought some of their cinnamon rolls to enjoy at home the next morning.
I enjoyed my visit to Lamberts. The food was good and plentiful. I could have made a meal out of the pass around side dishes and the thrown rolls. Fun place to eat.
As a first-time visitor, I wasn't informed that the rolls would be thrown to us! They were large and piping hot! Definitely enough food for two people!
