What a discovery Lambert’s Rainbow Market is. Tucked away in a discreet spot that’s easy to miss while driving down the turnpike, it would be a real loss to overlook it. I stopped by hoping to pick up a few cooking staples and ended up finding so much more. Their deli counter is outstanding. The staff is efficient, friendly, and eager to take your order for a variety of freshly made sandwiches. They slice the meat and prepare your sandwich right before your eyes, exactly how you want it. Each sandwich is wrapped once in deli paper, sliced, and then wrapped again. I ordered a hot pastrami, and it was an unforgettable experience, both in taste and atmosphere. Thirty years ago, I had the pleasure of working at Executone on Glacier Drive along Route 1, and Lambert's was the go-to spot for lunch subs so generous they often became my dinner. Today was my first visit back for some vegetables, meat, and fruit, and much remains the same—especially their abundant salad bar. I didn’t have a sub this time, but the deli counter service was just as warm and welcoming as it was three decades ago. Well done!
Excellent deli featuring Boar's Head meats. I especially enjoy their hot pastrami sandwiches and homemade calzones. Their salad bar and hot food section are also outstanding. The produce is fresh, high-quality, and often much more affordable than at big supermarkets. Plus, the staff are friendly. I absolutely love Lambert's!
They have really good prices on fruit, a deli that's unbeatable, great soup, and they have a buffet. Every time I've gotten the hot Buffet it hasn't been that hot. Quite cold as a matter of fact, but it is what it is and I love everything else

Always great selection at their salad bar. Great selection and good prices on their fall mums. Had lunch outside at the picnic tables but did see a mouse running in and out of the wooden stands in the front of the store
