Service was ok, but nothing stood out. Food quality was not good. Had fish and chips. I also ordered a strawberry pie. I at half of the fish, virtually no chips, and took a half a bite of pie which almost made me sick. I am typically very understanding with restaurants. However, this was an overall terrible experience. Might want to re-evaluate your Food quality, cooking procedures, and get your staff a bit more enthusiastic about having a job where they deal with the public. I am hesitant about trying this place again, but I will next time I'm there in Lincoln. Hopefully, ownership will take this criticism seriously.
We absolutely adore Lambkins! My husband and I own property in Helmville and pass through Lincoln a few times each month. Ever since our first breakfast there, it has become our go-to place. The veggie breakfast skillets and eggs benedict are fantastic, the burgers and steaks are top-notch, and the coffee is always strong and piping hot. I follow a pescatarian diet, while my husband is a meat lover, and we both find plenty of delicious options to enjoy. I highly recommend this place!
This is an old-time restaurant in a rustic mountain town. The food is simple but flavorful. We were here for breakfast. I had the prime rib omelet and my husband had the prime rib skillet. They were inexpensive, delicious and the portions were gigantic. I couldn't even finish half of mine. It was a shame since we were traveling and had to leave it behind. Highly recommend the restaurant and the town.
This restaurant offers the best food and service! The waitress was incredibly friendly and provided us with great tips about the town and shopping options nearby. SO delicious with great, friendly service! I love an old-fashioned diner, but it’s got to have good food. Lambkins has all the goodies a native Montanan would want — even thousand island dressing! The food was perfectly cooked and the service was Montana-style friendly. We all were so happy we chose Lambkins today!
They kept the coffee coming and were very kind to my partner and I. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon on an English muffin and it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever have. My partner ordered the large breakfast burrito and that was amazing too!
The breakfast is phenomenal! We are there two days in a row. I had the chicken fried steak the meat skillet. My husband had the cinnamon roll French toast. The portions are huge. The wait staff is wonderful, too!
