I had lunch with my wife at the restaurant in the Waldshut old city on a cold and rainy day. We had a quick look at the menu displayed in the box on the wall outside and decided that we liked what we saw. We...entered and came into a cosy and warm old style restaurant. The restaurants exists since 1729 and is managed by the current owners since 1989. We were quickly seated by a friendly waitress who took our order after a few minutes. Been there a few times. Basic German food done well. The draft beer is excellent.Located on a picturesque square with many other restaurants and shops. Highly recommended the pastry shop next door.Avoid sitting to close to the entry door in the winter. I suggest moving to the back of the restaurant where things are a bit warmer and you are also away from the smoking corner.As food is concerned I would not go there if you are looking for a broad selection of schnitzels.All said and done we come back regularly for lunch after shopping. Fair prices, friendly staff.
Located on the old town walking street with shops and nice antiquities sits the restaurant. Inside with an rustique design and outside a generous terrace. Lovely to be seated during the warmer months. Ordered one of the lunch special offers, three type of pan fried...fish with a large summer salad and home made dressing. Excellent in taste and quality. Service is good and the staff are very pleasant. Go to the restaurant next time you are in Waldshut you won't regret it. Good quality and so reasonable priced
I have been there for lunch. The restaurant is on the main street and is usually packed with customers, so it is advisable to book in advance. The staff is friendly and very efficient. Food is good and portions are quite large too. good selection...of beers. Decent place for children too. The underground floor is very spacey and more quiet than the upper one and there is plenty of space for the stroller. I recommend Lamm without hesitation.

Ich kenne das Gasthaus "Zum Lamm" seit knapp 25 Jahren. Seit eh und je gibt es hier gutes und sehr leckeres Essen. Vor 25 Jahren trank ich dort mehrheitlich Bier in den Freistunden von der Schule, heute geht in das Lamm wenn ich gut bürgerlich und lecker essen will.
it was very beautiful and old-fashioned historical, very beautiful from wood and with cute flowers in glass. the food was excellent and the service mega friendly and helpful. very happy to come back and can only recommend it.
