During a five-week stay in Sausset-les-pins we ate most restaurants near the port. L'amphore was our favorite. Good location, service, menu, prices and of course food. The midday formula is particularly good; €13,50 for three courses with many choices. I can recommend the fish soup, Moule Frites and Profiteroles. The profiterole had vanilla ice cream instead of cream, inside the pastry, which was refreshing on a hot day. You need to book as it is popular.
Coming from Marseilles, my children, my husband and Antibes, my mother-in-law, on the occasion of the feast of the sea, we went to L'Amphore to celebrate also the feast of grandmothers. Nice restaurant, waiters with small copious meals, as you can see on the pictures, we enjoyed it. On the other hand, one thing attracted my attention, covers, pictures in support, at the menu prices that day, the photo of the attached menus, an effort had to be made.
A really good find. They were able to take us in the short term, and we were very glad they could. We liked the look of the 25 Euro menu, but then the waitress "sold" us the 14 Euro menu, that was great. The traditional fish soup was fresh while the steak was excellent. Chocolate fondant and coffee finish. Fantastic, especially if you like good value, satisfying homemade food.
Very good dinner tonight. Quick service and pleasant special mention for the young waitress really very pleasant. Copious and good quality meals we enjoyed ourselves.
