We ordered our food at 12:15 PM. After multiple inquiries, we finally received our starter at 1:00 PM, after a 45-minute wait. More follow-ups were needed, and our first main dish didn't arrive until 1:25 PM, with the others trickling in over the next 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the fish was overcooked to the point of being inedible, and one of our dishes was incorrectly prepared and had to be sent back. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. As requested, I have sent my contact information to the manager via email.

The Pond is a lovely pub with beautiful decor, and all the tables were clean. Our waitress was very efficient and took our orders right away. We ordered a sirloin steak and a pizza. While the steak could have been a bit more tender, it was still enjoyable. The portion sizes were generous, and I appreciated being refilled. The pizza was wonderfully stone-baked, and my partner really liked it. Overall, I felt that this meal offered great value for money.

It's just average. The Land Oak seems to frequently change and close for renovations, but it never really improves. It used to be a 2-for-1 Marston's pub, then transformed into a carvery with a slightly better menu, and now it's back to being a 2-for-1 but without the carvery, which clearly wasn't successful and lacked quality. The menu is once again identical to that of the Water Mill, featuring a lot of similar offerings.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, with fairly good food and reasonable prices. It tends to be busy, but never feels overcrowded. The quality of the meals is generally quite high. However, I did have an issue with the pizza, which was undercooked and somewhat soggy. On the plus side, there is a large selection of drinks to enjoy, and the family-friendly vibe adds to the overall experience.
