Discovered this gem of a restaurant from a local friend. I have dined in for both lunch and dinner and always left happy and satisfied. The atmosphere is super laid back and welcoming, with a beautiful garden terrace patio. The staff is on point with service, friendliness, and patience especially for someone who does not speak Swiss German. I have had the pleasure of trying several items on their menu. In my last visit I had the mixed green salad, shrimp appetizer, and for my main course, the Metti’s Cordon Bleu. Everything was so delicious! And not to forgot their great beer and wine selection. If you get to this part of Switzerland you should definitely dine in at Langastof Adler Zuckenrie...
We were 6 adults and 2 children. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The house's recommendation was suggested to us for the aperitif, which we gratefully accepted and we can only recommend. The soup with the puff pastry on the cup was original, hot and very good. There is a separate and diverse menu for children. The Cordonbleus, especially my Arabic (with a very good spiciness) were absolutely top. Our service was attentive, competent and very friendly. We'd love to come back.
A really cozy country inn. Very homely and, above all, as women we didn't feel cold. The food was super delicious and the staff was totally friendly and attentive despite the full house. In any case, it can only be recommended. Thank you for the wonderful evening!
If you like Cordon bleu, here is a good choice. I like filet. And the soup with wine is good as well. But it is really too much for me. So I do not order side dish this time
