we used to visit the place for the generous ice-cream and the occasional meal. always happy to go back. to ... the owner changed and we were not back since (kovid helped in that such a good occasion...visit on a sunny mother's day (we thought). we have booked a table because we knew that such a wonderful place on such a day would not be empty. so far so good but then everything started: wait for our meal to come over an hour after the order! also a year old. come, people, you need to know that the little people are not the most patient, at least bring their meal perhaps? it's just pasta bolognaise. - from adult and child had only no complain - the sweet had a taste of red - the meat was unco...
we wanted to enjoy something small in the beautiful garden of the restaurant. Unfortunately there is nothing really small on the map (almost noted in the garden.) according to the operation it is also not possible to get a Cordon ball instead of pommes only salat. We've never heard of it. something like a gym for all the many velo drivers and hiking there is not. here would be a need for action. some visitors didn't really know what to order because they wanted to "a snack" and not order a lunch for 40.-CHF. the service was quite inflexible and uninterested, but polite. the food was very good. the prices are high and the portions are not very large.
beautiful terrace and good clear menu. However, the staff seems to be overwhelmed. can be that it was not so much played by the rainy days. from our ordering 4 people there was only a mistake at the drinks afterwards I had to wait for my suppen spoon there was the suppe already a bit cooler. despite 15 tables and 3-4 employees, the service was not the yellow of the egg. I wish the team a nice summer so they can still play in. would then be a super outing target.
for 6 smallest fish crispy (canada,?) salt potatoes and standing vegetables for fr. 33.50 on the teller in a gardenbeiz without charm and ambiance are simply too much. I understand all those who make the way to Germany in the future. adds that the waiting time was too long and the service was completely overforated, although the operation was not fully occupied.

the garden restaurant is very nice, there is nothing. Unfortunately, you cannot rely on the opening times on the website, which is very annoying if you have previously checked extra and take the away with a group. from earlier visit I can say that eating well but the service is manageable ... pity ...
the food in the restaurant is really excellent! (wild season highly recommended) the garden convinces with shaded chestnuts, and many different fitness plate variants. the coup’s are the mind :)
my wife, daughter, and I stopped, afraid we'd be too late to eat. the chef welcomed us and we might have had the best fondue we had ever had. will be visited again.
close to the listed Eglisau-Glattfelden power plant, this gas farm is located. in summer popular with cyclists, but also offers upscale kitchen.
