I have been going to the Gut Hahn for many years (at least once a year for the last years when I visit Germany) and I have never been disappointed by the food. Ever.My favorite is usually the Medallion of Port Fillet although this...time I elected for the Salmon Fillet. Amazing, Texture. Taste and great service. In a party of everyone enjoyed their meal (and of course the drinks). The staff were very courteous, professional and just plain down to earth.And they always start you off with a simple, tasty, starter that is on the house. Just eating dinner with family and friends, what started off as a promising evening has ended up as a disappointment. After getting a steak that was like eating my shoe, roast potatoes that were blobs of oil and have been waiting for dessert for over...an hour!!! Avoid if you want to end up smiling at the end of the night, a waste of four hours of my life.
I have been here after a business trip to Wuppertal. We went in for just some food and were pleasantly surprised by the fine taste of the dishes. And the pricing is very moderate, so price/prestation is on a very high level. I will definitely...return here when in the neighbourhood.
