On 5/28/2022 myself and my brother decided to visit Lani's. The male cook was only wearing 1 glove the whole time while touching food with both hands. The lady told us our two sandwiches (cubanos), would be ready in 10-15 minutes. It took a little more than a half hour. There was only two sandwich makers without timers. So both members of the staff was constantly flipping our sandwiches before they were even ready to be flipped. This happened so many times that on o e flip my sandwich fell apart. We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, but we ended up feeling quite let down by our experience. The entire place had a strong smell of marijuana, and the girl at the counter seemed too out of it to assist customers properly. We ordered two grilled cheese sandwiches and ended up waiting 40 minutes for them. She didn’t even greet us when we arrived; we had to ask if they were open and able to prepare food. While we were trying to figure out the menu, she just stood there watching us. Wow! Lani's is amazing! My family and I had such a great experience. They have an awesome selection of unique grilled cheeses as well as homemade fries and mac and cheese you can get.My husband and I got the Rocky Balboa which is a yummy grilled cheese steak with rib eye and caramelized onions. TOP NOTCH. We also had the Kelly fries which are fresh fries with melted American cheese and gravy. DELICIOUS!The place is cute and the people were so nice! The prices were extremely reasonable and we left full and happy. We can't wait to go back!Don't overlook Lani's. It truly is something special.
Well, we came in for lunch to try the vegan menu, but everything was sold out I asked if everything was sold out and a very unenthusiastic woman basically said she could maybe do the basic sandwich but she wasn 't sure. Idk I traveled 45 mins to try your food and it was very underwhelming. I could understand that food sold out but this woman sounded like she would be very inconvenienced if I ordered the food so we just left. Bummer because vegan food can hit off and ppl will travel far if its good but not with that atmosphere, dont think I 'll be coming back sorry , just honest feedback.

I ordered a campfire because I was really craving it due to my pregnancy. They called to let me know they didn't have white bread and asked if they could substitute it with sourdough bread, to which I agreed. However, when I received my order, they sent me a large fries instead of the dessert I was looking forward to. It was frustrating because they took the time to call about the bread substitution, yet I ended up with fries that I didn’t want. Such a waste! It’s just really annoying.
Not sure what happened to this place. Used to love it, but between their phone either not working or being turned off and orders somehow getting canceled, the service has declined. The quality of the sandwiches even seems to be starting to dip. It really is a shame. Hopefully things improve, but I’m not sure that we’ll be returning.
The staff was very nice, and the pulled pork on my Cuban was very tasty, but everything else was just...meh. The inside is under construction, but it has the potential to be super cute. Hours on yelp do not match hours listed at the shop. Good if you just want a plain grilled cheese.
Their food was flavorful and delicious! First time ordering from Lina's and I would definitely go back! I got the Cubano grilled cheese and it was very good!

They frequently run out of items for orders, such as fries or chili, which are advertised on the menu. This has happened more than once!
